What is Collocation service and what it is used for?

Collocation is an outsourcing solution where a customer places its server or servers in a data center of a storage provider. The storage provider is responsible for managing the area, bandwidth, routing, monitoring, security, refrigeration, air conditioning and consecutive power supply to the server or server's cabinet. Collocation saves the  customers time and enormous expenses of construction and maintenance of a data center or server cabinets.
